As a refugee in London, the Tamil feels like an outsider and uses her art to rebel against everything that in her opinion is unethical. Despite her aggressiveness – underscored by the military cap – the pretty young woman with the resolute arm pose is deliberately presented by the artist as sensuous and sexy. These eyes can do anything. Although she hardly had contact to her parents, in later years M.I.A. titled an album after them.
Available as original painting (oil and acrylics on canvas) and as limited Fine Art print. Maximum of 25 prints for each variant.
